Now live: Brand new website of Holland Flower Alliance

The Holland Flower Alliance launched its brand new website during Flower Logistics Africa 2017 in Nairobi last week.

The Holland Flower Alliance, a strategic alliance between Royal Floraholland, KLM Cargo and Schiphol Cargo, was formed to optimise the logistics of the floricultural supply chain.

“The Flower Logistics Africa conference was the first time that we participated at an event as the Holland Flower Alliance”, said Eline van den Berg, Project manager of the Holland Flower Alliance.

“Our aim is to create a seamless global floral chain for growers, logistic service providers and flower professionals all over the world, with the Netherlands as the international flower hub and Amsterdam as its home. This event gave us a great opportunity to launch our new website and to present ourselves to the African flower market”.

With an initial focus on the flower route between Kenya and the Netherlands, the alliance is active on five levels: information sharing, process innovation, packaging, branding and governance. The alliance strives to fulfil an ambitious mission: ‘prolonging the lasting beauty of flowers’.
